BlueStacks is the best emulator that exists today to run Android applications on a PC or Mac. This allows to run the most demanding applications and games on the market without any problem because its compatibility is high. But it’s true that sometimes it can fails with some app or cause an unexpected incompatibility error with the hardware such as graphics card error. In any case there are several alternatives to BlueStacks so we will make a short list of the options available today that I present below.

The best alternatives to BlueStacks

KoPlayer

KoPlayer is one of the best emulators that exist along with BlueStacks. Bottom line from my point of view but has many applications running natively on the x86 architecture is fast and stable. It’s specialized in games so you will not have problems. The installation takes up about 530MB and so we tested works quite well.

GenyMotion

It’s an open source Android VM project that lets you run Android apps with no problem. It is easy to use, customizable and very fast. It is compatible with Windows 7/8/10 on 32 or 64 bits and with Linux in their usual distributions. It is also quite customizable. You can download the links below.

Nox App player

Nox App player is a very reliable emulator and Windows 10 compatible on Intel or AMD processors. Allows you to manage the processor and RAM. It is also compatible with GPS so you will be very useful to play Pokemon Go. But there are many comments of malfunction by the users.

Droid4X

Droid4X is another existing emulator on the market that competes with BlueStacks. There are also many applications available. The user experience is good by offering an elegant interface and the handling of the controls works quite well. It supports applications and games in the same way.

Androidx86

This project still under development comes as a patch to adapt Android and get it to work on netbooks like the Asus Eee. Currently the versions seem stable but it is possible that I still have many errors to be an undeveloped product still so at the moment I can not recommend it.

These are the 5 alternatives we propose to BlueStacks. Not all have the same quality as BlueStacks but they can serve you if you have a problem and cannot be solved then maybe can helps you. Try them and tell us. Your opinion or suggestions are welcome.
